As CEO of Reboot Partners, he invests in and co-operates emerging growth companies—and also enables startups and Fortune 1000’s to co-create through The Dancing with Startups Program.
Dean was recently Chairman of ÄKTA - acquired by Salesforce (CRM), CEO of Autoweb (AWEB) - taken public and acquired by Autobytel (ABTL), CEO of Imagination Network/WorldPlay Entertainment - acquired by Verizon, CEO of TNS Media - acquired by WPP, CEO of Entertainment.com - an MBO acquisition, CEO of Free Drive - acquired by Verizon, and CEO of CatchTV - acquired by Liberty Media (FWONA). Dean has also been an operating executive and CEO of Fortune 500 subsidiaries, including FedEx (FDX), AT&T (T), AOL (VZ), WPP (WPP.L), Western Union (WU), Anixter (AXE), Arris (ARRS) and LG Electronics (LGLD).
He has served on public, private, Family-Enterprise, CVC, PE and VC boards, and is currently a board member at Revieve, PBC Linear and Manna Tree.
